The residence permit application process consists of several consecutive stages. Depending on the circumstances, the procedure may vary slightly, but the main stages remain broadly the same.

Company registration and document preparation

After assessing the situation, we help organise the company registration.
Depending on the client’s situation, this may involve registering a new company or selecting an already operating company. We prepare the documents required for registration, organise the process, and, if necessary, can register the company under a power of attorney without the client’s personal presence.

Preparation of the application (invitation)

After the company has been registered and the required documents prepared, the next stage begins — submitting an application for an invitation.
The application is submitted on behalf of the Latvian company. In practice, the company invites the foreign entrepreneur to work in and manage the business.

Submission of the full set of documents

Once the invitation is approved, the main set of documents for the residence permit application is submitted.
At this stage, all documents required by law are prepared and filed.
We compile the full set of documents, complete the questionnaires and required forms in accordance with legal requirements and established review practice, so that the application process is handled correctly and without unnecessary delays.

Review of documents

After the full set of documents has been submitted, the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs of Latvia reviews the documents provided and makes a decision on the case.

Receiving the residence permit card

Once a positive decision has been made, the applicant arrives in Latvia to receive the residence permit card.
